Quadrant Private Wealth is very proud to introduce and support one of our newest colleagues, Paul Francis, as he joins the fight to defeat childhood cancer!
It started out as some good-natured teasing among friends over the fact that Paul’s hair had grown significantly over the course of the pandemic shutdown. That evolved into Paul deciding to take on a philanthropic challenge in memory of his friend’s daughter, Arden Quinn Bucher. He has agreed to shave off his hair to raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research in the United States. The virtual event will be live streamed on September 26th.

On June 20th, the United Way of Greater Lehigh Valley held their 27th annual Day of Caring. This event brings together volunteers to help complete service projects throughout the community. This year more than 900 volunteers from over 45 companies stepped up to help complete over 60 community service projects.
Quadrant was pleased to be invited to send a team of employees and their families to the Roberto Clemente Charter School to help with some landscaping and indoor projects at the elementary school location. The school is located in downtown Allentown and strives to inspire and educate students to maximize their success. In 2018, 96% of their graduating class went to college and the remaining 4% went on to achieve their goals by attending trade schools.
We feel fortunate to have been a part of an event in which our efforts aided in improving the interior and exterior of this learning institution. We wish the students at Roberto Clemente much success in their learning and future endeavors!

On May 11th, 2019, hundreds of Saucon Valley High School students vowed to spend 12 hours on their feet to help raise money for a very worthy cause. Minithon is an official part of Penn State Dance Marathon (THON), which is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, with all proceeds going to Penn State Hershey Medical Center to aid in the ongoing battle against pediatric cancer.
The teenage participants spent those hours playing lawn games, line dancing, and playing dodgeball and other games to pass the time. With the help of local business sponsors and through individual fund-raising, SVHS raised over $32,000!
Quadrant is proud to have been one of the sponsors of this amazing event! For The Kids! #FTK

The Dragons Are Coming Back to the Lehigh Valley!
Quadrant is excited to once again be the Presenting Regatta Sponsor of The Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s 2nd Annual Dragon Boat Festival being held at Evergreen Lake on June 15th!
The festival proceeds directly benefit the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley, an organization which provides support, education, and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation, and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease. All programs are offered free of charge.
Dragon Boating is easy to learn, extremely safe, and an activity where men and women compete side by side towards the same goal. Regardless how old, young, big or little: once a paddler is in stroke, they are contributing to their team! Add the outdoors, the water, the visual spectacle of dragon boating and you get a perfect activity for corporate team building, or a group outing! Quadrant is very proud to be a key sponsor of the Saucon Valley Middle School Robotics Club that competed among 24 teams in the Greater Philadelphia SeaPerch Challenge held at Temple University on Friday, March 8th. SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics challenge in which teachers and students work together to design and build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV). This ROV is used to participate in an underwater obstacle course and a challenge course to test its maneuverability and response. The vehicle must be able to dive and ascend, as well as change directions at full or near-full speed. Students also complete a live marketing-style presentation and submit a notebook documenting their research, work, and conclusions.
The team from Saucon Valley Middle School consisted of: Abigail Luftig, Teegan Lannon, Sonia Lloyd, Emily Chi, Katelyn Pequeno and Josiah Lamirand, as well as an honorary seventh grade member, Braeden Schriffert. “Team Mishipeshu” (which translates to “underwater panther”) walked away with a First Place in Overall Competition as well as several other notable achievements: Team Spirit Award – 1st Place, Team Presentation – 4th Place, Team Robot Design/Obstacle Course Completion – 2nd Place, Team Engineering Notebook – 4th Place.
The victory at the Greater Philadelphia SeaPerch Challenge earned “Team Mishipeshu” a berth in the International Competition to be held at the University of Maryland June 1st – 2nd. They will be competing against a field of 96 teams from all over the globe. We want to wish “Team Mishipeshu” good luck and great success!
UPDATE: Team Mishipeshu went on to place 15th out of the 96 teams participating in the international middle school competition! Because the team was also within the top 8 places in the engineering notebook category at the regional competition, the students were able to discuss their journey to the international competition in front of parents. Congratulations Team Mishipeshu!
As part of our ongoing Quadrant Qares initiative, our firm sponsored a food drive to benefit our neighbors at the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley. Based in Bethlehem, the Hispanic Center seeks to improve the quality of lives for families (Hispanic and non-Hispanic) by empowering them to become self-sufficient, while promoting an intercultural understanding in the Lehigh Valley.
Due to flood & foundation issues, the food pantry at Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley lost everything and continues to have a desperate need to re-stock its shelves. This pantry operates on a choice model that suggests healthy choices for their clients. Items we were able to collect for donation included low or no-salt canned vegetables, 100% vegetable juice, canned fruit, 100% fruit juice, brown and white rice, low or no-salt canned beans, dried beans, canned tuna in water, and whole grain breads and cereals.
The generosity of our clients amazes us. We were very proud to make our delivery to Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley on March 1st. Learn more about Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley here:
